Welcome to Friendly IT Pros, a service provided by Friendly IT Company, LLC, doing business as (dba) Friendly IT Pros (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at friendlyitpros.com and any related services.

Service availability may be limited by geographic area, schedule, or technical feasibility.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using our site or scheduling a service, you confirm you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

Appointments, Rescheduling & Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Multiple last-minute changes may result in limited future availability.

If we need to reschedule due to illness, emergencies, or other operational needs, we will notify you promptly and reschedule at a mutually agreeable time. We’ll do our best to adhere to the same 24 hr cancellation policy.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payment options.
Business clients with a service agreement will be invoiced based on agreed billing cycles.

Failure to pay may result in late fees, suspended service, or refusal of future service.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact and device information
  • Backing up data before service begins (unless backup is part of the service)
  • Ensuring reasonable and safe access to devices or workspaces
  • Cooperating during diagnostics and support

We are not responsible for pre-existing issues, hardware failure, or data loss.

Remote Access Consent

By requesting or accepting remote support, you authorize us to access your system for troubleshooting and service delivery. You may revoke access at any time. We will only access systems or files necessary to complete the requested work.

No Guarantees / Service Disclaimer

We strive to provide high-quality service, but we do not guarantee issue resolution. All services are provided “as is” and without warranties, either express or implied. We do not guarantee compatibility with future updates or systems outside our control.

Confidentiality & Data Handling

We treat all accessed information as confidential. We do not store, retain, or share client credentials or sensitive information beyond the scope of service. Any credentials shared are used only with your permission and only for the duration of service delivery.

Third-Party Tools and Services

We may use or recommend third-party tools (such as remote access software, antivirus solutions, or scheduling systems). Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party performance or data handling.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Friendly IT Company, LLC dba Friendly IT Pros is not liable for:

  • Any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or system access
  • Issues caused by third-party software, hardware, or network conditions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service rendered.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, acts of government, labor shortages, pandemics, terrorism, or system-wide outages.
