Q: What is digital legacy planning?
A: It’s the process of organizing and securing your digital accounts, files, and memories so they can be passed on or preserved in the event of illness, incapacity, or death.
Q: What do you help me organize?
A: We’ll help you identify and prepare access to essential items like photos, documents, cloud accounts, email, social media, device access, and more—based on what matters most to you.
Q: Is this secure? I don’t want to share my passwords.
A: Absolutely. We never ask for or store your passwords. Instead, we guide you in creating a system that lets a trusted person access your digital life when needed, using tools provided by major platforms.
Q: Do I need to use Google or Apple services?
A: Not necessarily. We support a variety of platforms, but Google and Apple both offer helpful tools that many clients choose to use. We’ll work with whatever services you already have.
Q: How long does the session take?
A: Most appointments take 60 to 75 minutes. Your first 60 minutes are included in the service price. If more time is needed, additional time is billed at our standard hourly rate.
Q: What do I get at the end?
A: We provide a digital or printed summary of your plan, including step-by-step instructions your loved ones can use. You’ll also receive advice on keeping the plan current.
Q: Can this help with estate planning?
A: Yes. While we don’t provide legal advice, many clients use this service alongside estate planning to ensure digital assets aren’t forgotten. We can also coordinate with your attorney if needed.
Q: Do you help families of someone who has already passed?
A: Yes, in some cases. We can help identify accounts, recover files (when possible), and offer guidance on securing or closing digital assets respectfully.
Q: Is this available for couples or families?
A: Definitely. We can include multiple people in a session or schedule back-to-back appointments for partners or family members who want coordinated plans.
Q: Do you offer this service in person?
A: Yes. We offer in-person sessions throughout the Long Beach Metro area and remote appointments for clients anywhere.
